Ross Eastley is a seasoned financial executive with over 35 years of experience in accounting, corporate finance, and executive governance across both public and private sectors. As Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer of CanaQuest Medical Corp since 2009, Mr. Eastley has played a central role in shaping the company’s financial strategy, regulatory compliance, and corporate development as it evolved into a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on cannabinoid-based therapeutics for neurological disorders.

In addition to overseeing CanaQuest’s finance and investor relations functions, Mr. Eastley has contributed directly to the company’s scientific and commercial pipeline. He has conducted in-depth research and due diligence into CQ-001’s formulation enhancements, including the identification of potential bio-enhancers and exploration of new therapeutic indications aligned with the endocannabinoid and neuroinflammatory pathways.

Prior to CanaQuest, Mr. Eastley served as Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC) from 2006 to 2009. In that role, he reported to a nine-member Board and led the organization’s strategic planning, regulatory framework development, corporate communications, legal process oversight, and full operational build-out, including staffing and infrastructure. His leadership helped establish CSIC as a functional self-regulating professional body within a federally regulated environment.

Mr. Eastley also held senior financial leadership roles in academia, including serving as Vice President and Controller of Brandon University, where he managed financial planning, reporting, and institutional compliance.

A Chartered Accountant (CA) by designation, Mr. Eastley has also served as a board member and executive advisor to various organizations for over two decades, offering governance insight and fiscal leadership. His deep financial acumen, combined with his strategic understanding of innovation-based industries, continues to be a driving force behind CanaQuest’s operational execution and long-term value creation.

Mr. Eastley holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA).
