Gordon Gannon is a seasoned advocate, executive advisor, and business leader with a dual-track record in mental health advocacy and global financial services, currently serving as Strategic Advisor for Mental Health and Neurological Wellness at CanaQuest Medical Corp. With deep-rooted expertise in addiction recovery, mood disorders, and behavioral health innovation, Mr. Gannon plays a critical role in forging clinical and commercial partnerships across the U.S. and internationally to advance CanaQuest’s cannabinoid-based neuroscience platform.
A long-standing champion of community-based recovery and mental health, Mr. Gannon currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Mental Health Association in New Jersey (MHANJ), a leading state-level advocacy group and program administrator for comprehensive mental health services. He previously served on the board of the C3 Foundation, a global nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness of The Sinclair Method (TSM)—a low-cost, evidence-based treatment for alcohol use disorder (AUD) with a growing base of clinical validation. Additionally, Mr. Gannon has devoted significant volunteer time at Eva’s Village, a renowned substance abuse and homelessness recovery center in Paterson, NJ.
At CanaQuest, Mr. Gannon is focused on strategic relationship development, including establishing clinical trial networks, institutional partnerships, and U.S. distribution channels for the company’s proprietary formulations. He was instrumental in catalyzing CanaQuest’s relationship with Don Parker, the former President and CEO of Hackensack Meridian Health, New Jersey’s largest and most integrated healthcare system, encompassing 18 hospitals, over 500 patient care locations, and a workforce exceeding 36,000.
Prior to joining CanaQuest, Mr. Gannon built a successful career in global finance and capital markets, holding senior roles in asset management and equity capital markets at top-tier Wall Street institutions, including CIBC World Markets, Citigroup Latin American Private Bank, Alex. Brown & Sons, and Prudential-Bache Investment Management. He later transitioned into the consumer products industry, where he founded and led Cataclean Americas, the exclusive distributor in North, Central, and South America for Cataclean®, a patented emissions-reducing automotive solution.
Mr. Gannon brings a rare combination of clinical insight, business acumen, and cultural fluency to his advisory work. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, plays several musical instruments, and maintains an active lifestyle through racquet sports. He resides in Morristown, New Jersey, with his wife, Bonnie.
